As Lily and Marshall become a threesome with the arrival into the world of Marvin Wait-For-It Eriksen, Ted, Robin and Barney review the status of their lives at this present time. Barney tries to set Ted up on dates so that he can forget about Robin, while also plotting to get Quinn out of her stripping job. Meanwhile, Lily sends Marshall on a getaway so that he will stop stressing over the baby.

Just as Ted starts to settle into his new apartment alone, Barney tries to entice him into going out every single night. Meanwhile, Lily has a naughty dream about someone other then Marshall, and Robin finally becomes a famous news anchor.

S07E20 Trilogy Time

Quinn has moved in with Barney, but not all is all right with the living arrangement as Barney doesn't yet feel like he can be himself around Quinn in all its good and bad, which is manifested in part by his evening ritual just outside his apartment building.
